Hello everyone! Welcome to the new MarkZaleskiMusic.com. This website will be the gateway into all things I’m doing musically, and the homepage for The Mark Zaleski Band.
The launch of this new and improved site (thanks to my dear friend and wonderful web designer Kayla Glovinski) comes with lots of exciting band news.
There are a whole bunch of new performances coming up in the next few months all over New England and New York.
We also have a whole slew of slick new concert videos (thanks to the amazing Alex Chaloff) from our March 16, 2014 performance at our new home base, The Milky Way in Jamaica Plain, MA. I will release a new video through this blog every time we have a new run of shows until the whole set will eventually be available to you.
We are also planning to record a new album this coming fall or winter. Stay tuned for more information on that.
And finally, I will be writing a short blog post every few weeks to let you know what’s going on in the many facets of my life. They won’t be exclusive to MZB news. Some posts will include information about side projects I’m in, some will be just opinions on certain musical issues, some will be about my life as an educator. It will just have to do with things that are on my mind. I’ve never been a blogger, or even would consider myself to be much of a writer, but I’m going to try my best and I hope you enjoy them.
